Yes. All returned requests need authorization before returning products. Element K accepts returns of resalable books (carefully review conditions below). Once a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) is obtained, the customer has 30 days to return materials. Returns will be credited in the same form as they were paid if an item is returned within 30 days of obtaining an RMA. The customer is responsible for the return shipping of the product.

To submit a return, fill out the RMA (Return Merchandise Authorization) form and email to customerservice@elementk.com or call 1-800-478-7788 option 2 to arrange for merchandise to be returned.

• Products must be in the original shrink-wrap.
• Products must not have any stickers applied or any visible markings.
• Products must have been purchased within 90 days. (For Academic customers, products must have been purchased within 180 days)
• Products must be returned within 30 days of obtaining an RMA.
• The RMA form must be included in the box with the returned material and, in addition, the RMA number must be clearly marked on the box.
• When your return is approved and the returned products are received, you will be issued a credit memo, less a processing charge of 20%  the invoiced value of the books.
• Microsoft Official Learning Products are subject to a 5% return processing charge.
• IBM Lotus Products are subject to a 10% processing charge. IBM retired titles are also returnable.

(Note: Any product returned to Element K that does not meet all of the conditions stated above will not be credited or returned to you.)

(Note: Any product returned to Element K without prior authorization (RMA # clearly marked on the box) or not having official RMA documentation as noted, will be "returned to sender".)  

Items that are NOT returnable include:

• Electronically fulfilled, Element K-published products which have been redeemed
• Electronically fulfilled, non-Element K-published products
• Custom print orders and custom logos
• CD/DVD
• Promotional purchases
• Cisco Authorized Curriculum
• EC-Council Authorized Courseware with exam vouchers
• EC-Council exam vouchers
• EMC Authorized Courseware
• Fig Leaf Courseware
• Macromedia/Adobe Authorized Courseware
• RIM Authorized Courseware
• SPI Authorized Courseware

RMA credit memos are generated when the books are received back into Element K inventories and are only approved for the books received. All returned materials are inspected and credit may be refused for any materials that are not in an acceptable condition.
